Home Insuarance

Can you imagine what you would do if, through no fault of your own you lost your job and thus your income. What would you do if you became unable to work because you had had an accident or became ill?

The payments for your mortgage will still need to be made, as well as your other family household bills for things like credit cards, loans, council tax, electricity, gas and even life cover.

Unemployment Insurance can protect you for up to 24 months although most plans are restricted to 12.

Unemployment Insurance or Income Protection as it is often called ensures that in the event of unforeseen unemployment your income is protected at a difficult time allowing you breathing space to find new employment.

No medicals are required for Income Protection insurance arranged by UKinsurancenet and individual habits such as smoking do not affect your premium or your eligibility.

The maximum monthly benefit yyou can receive is between 50% & 75% of your Gross income. The maximum allowed is dictated by each individal provider. There is also normally a monetary limit on the benefit available from a plan the temporary policies (ASU) which generally only pay for up to 12 months have benfit levels of between £1000 & £2500 per plan. Sometimes plans can be combined to provide a greater monthly benefit although care must be taken to ensure that all providers are aware of any other arrangements. Long term policies are generally still subject to the percentage maximums but not the monetary limits.
